More connectivity options | SharedMailbox

September 2024. Our shared mailbox can be combined with various services. You can use the shared mailbox to communicate both internally and externally. You can also choose to connect the shared mailbox to the SDK, a digital fax or connect it to secure forms on, for example, your website. Due to the fact that the connection possibilities have become more and more in recent years, we want to make this clear inside the shared mailbox. Nowadays, you can see on the left side of a function mailbox which connections are connected to it. If it is a shared mailbox that has a fax connection, you will also see which number it is connected to.

More meeting administrators | SecureMeetings

August 2024. We have identified a need for several to be able to be a meeting administrator in our SecureMeetings service. As a result, we have now added a function that allows when inviting to a meeting to add one or more meeting administrators.  This function is useful, for example, if you as a meeting organizer are prevented from attending the meeting, then a colleague can hold the meeting and administer it instead. However, keep in mind that the colleague to whom you assign the role must have a SecureAppbox account in your organization and identify themselves with the security level you use in the organization. For security reasons, individuals outside the organization organizing the meeting cannot be administrators.

Now for everyone | LoA3

April 2024. Now all organizations and paying accounts are offered access to LOA3. This means that all of our customers can now send messages where the recipient verifies their identity with e-identification, which both makes the process easier and safer. This happens automatically and you don’t have to actively do anything. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact our support.

Loa stands for Level of Assurance and is a trust framework used to estimate how reliable and protected an organization’s management of identities is.

The four different levels within LoA

  1. No identification is required, but a username and password
  2. The identity can be verified with two-factor authentication, for example via a one-time code.
  3. The identity must be proven using an approved identity document or e-identification such as Freja eID or BankID.
  4. Here, a personal meeting is required to verify identity. Identification via e-identification that is protected in a special chip found on a plastic card, a mobile phone or a USB device is also ok.
