1. About these terms of service
This is an agreement between You and SecureAppbox AB. This agreement applies to the SecureAppbox’s Services, that you use while this agreement is in force.
USING THE SERVICE AND ADD-ON SECURITY FUNCTIONS MEANS THAT YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF A COMPANY OR OTHER LEGAL ENTITY, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO BIND SUCH ENTITY AND ITS AFFILIATES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, IN WHICH CASE THE TERMS “YOU” OR “YOUR” SHALL REFER TO SUCH ENTITY AND ITS AFFILIATES. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SUCH AUTHORITY, OR IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MAY NOT USE THE SERVICE OR ADD-ON FUNCTIONS.
“SecureAppbox” means SecureAppbox AB (Sweden).
“Service” or “SecureAppbox Service” means services provided by SecureAppbox, including SecureAppbox Connect, Organizer, SecureMailbox, SharedMailbox, SecureMeetings, SecureForms, SecureAppbox API, updates and add-on security functions, in accordance with these Terms of Service (ToS).
“We,” “Us” or “Our” mean the SecureAppbox company.
“You” or ““Your” mean you as individual or the company or other legal entity for which you are accepting this Agreement, and Affiliates of that company or entity.
“Account” means a SecureAppbox Service account, created by an individual user or corporation/business/organization/group.
3. About SecureAppbox
SecureAppbox helps individual citizens, companies, organizations, and authorities around the world to conduct secure video meetings, share information and mange regulatory challenges in a secure environment. The SecureAppbox Services are easy to use, always accessible and are designed to help you protect your sensitive data and information.

4. Reservation of Rights in Services
Subject to the limited rights expressly granted hereunder, we reserve all rights, title, and interest in and to the SecureAppbox Services, including all related intellectual property rights. No rights are granted to You hereunder other than as expressly set forth herein.
5. Using the Service
To use and control your SecureAppbox Service, to register with the Service by creating an Account using a valid e-mail address that is either owned by yourself or by Your company/organization.
It is possible to create more than one Account, for example a private account with a personal e-mail address and a additional account for your business communications with your employer’s e-mail address.
By using the SecureAppbox Service, you understand that the ownership of all the content within the encrypted service belongs to the owner of the chosen e-mail address. When using the SecureAppbox Service, you will: 1) obey the law, 2) obey any codes of conduct or other notices SecureAppbox provides, 3) promptly notify SecureAppbox if you learn of a security breach related to the Service.
When using the SecureAppbox Service you may not: 1) engage in, facilitate or further unlawful conduct, 2) use the Service in a way that harm SecureAppbox or any customer of the Service; damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with anyone’s use and enjoyment of the Service.
If the law in Your country prohibits You from using the Service because You are underage, intellectual property rights exist or simply because this type of Service is not allowed, do not use the Service. If You obtain anything from a third party through the Service, you understand that your relationship with respect to those things is with the third party directly and not with SecureAppbox. In the event You assert a claim that relates to or implicates your relationship with a third party, you shall therefore only assert such claim against the third party.
As a user of the Service, you must make sure your e-mail address exist, is valid and does not reject notifications repeatedly. Accounts where notifications are repeatedly rejected may be deleted by SecureAppbox.
Accounts that have never been verified after creation will be deleted by SecureAppbox.
6. Agreement with SecureAppbox
The user agreement will be effective as of the date you registrate for an account, accepting to a message or an invite to a SecureAppbox service. If you choose to NOT register an account, the agreement will last until the message the message is deleted or video meeting ends.
Regarding user agreement for Personal accounts that are not used in a period of 2 years and not associated with an organization may be inactivated by SecureAppbox
You and/or SecureAppbox may terminate Your agreement with SecureAppbox at any time.
7. On content
Subject to the limited rights granted by you hereunder, we acquire no right, title or interest from you or your licensor(s) under this agreement in or to your data, including any intellectual property rights therein.
You understand that SecureAppbox does not control or endorse the content that you and others post or provide in the Service. You understand that SecureAppbox may need, and you hereby authorize SecureAppbox to encrypt, use, modify, copy, distribute and display content posted on the Service to the extent necessary to provide the Service. We take no responsibility for the content provided by you on the Service.
This includes: 1) storing and retrieving the content, 2) making the content available to you and to those members to whom you have granted access, 3) conforming to the limitations and terms of the Service.
You understand that sharing content that violates others’ copyrights and other intellectual property rights violates this agreement. Further, SecureAppbox may refuse to make your content available and may remove Your content from the Service at any time based on requirements in mandatory law.
8. Payment terms and conditions
If you register and chose to have a service whit a fee you must follow the payment terms and conditions to be able to use the service.
You agree to pay SecureAppbox any applicable charges and rates as agreed in an agreement or stated on the SecureAppbox website in connection with your purchase and use of the Service.
SecureAppbox may change the rates at any time by giving a thirty (30) days’ notice of such change via a SecureAppbox message to You, as well as on the SecureAppbox website at, https://www.secureappbox.com. If You do not wish to accept such adjustment of rates, You may discontinue Your use of the Service at any time.
In the event you believe that SecureAppbox has charged you in error, you must contact SecureAppbox customer services at email@example.com within 90 days after such charge. No refunds will be given for any charges which are more than 90 days old.
SecureAppbox will not refund pre-paid monthly subscription fees for a downgraded account.
SecureAppbox reserves the right to terminate these Terms of Service with immediate effect, automatically and without recourse to the courts, in the event of any abuse by You of these terms relating to refunds.
Your personal SecureAppbox Connect account can be upgraded to a full features “Pro/business” account in three ways:
By buying a Personal Pro/Business account. This type of account is only for the SecureMailbox message service.
Accepting a “sponsored*” Pro/Business account from an already registered customer in the SecureAppbox “Organizer” Portal.
Add your account to an organization in the SecureAppbox “Organizer” portal. This gives you the ability to use all the SecureAppbox Connect services like SecureMeetings, SharedMailbox, SecureForms, SDK etc. (Contact firstname.lastname@example.org)
All monthly or yearly fees is paid in advance. If the fees are not paid, SecureAppbox has the rights to inactivate your account.
*Sponsored accounts are a new feature that has been implemented to help security organisations to invite their important clients and partners.
10. Integration with other providers
10.1 Integration with Non-SecureAppbox Services, including 3rd party developed services connecting to the SecureAppbox API and other services integrated with the SecureAppbox Services. The Services may contain features designed to interoperate with Non-SecureAppbox Applications (e.g., Salesforce, Scrive or Synkzone). To use such features, you may be required to obtain access Non-SecureAppbox Applications from their providers. If the provider of any Non-SecureAppbox Application ceases to make the Non-SecureAppbox Application available for interoperation with the corresponding Service features on reasonable terms, we may cease providing such Service features without entitling You to any refund, credit, or other compensation.
10.2 Non-SecureAppbox Applications and Your Data. If You install or enable Non-SecureAppbox Applications for use with Services, you acknowledge that We may allow providers of those Non-SecureAppbox Applications to access Your Data as required for the interoperation of such Non-SecureAppbox Applications with the Services. We shall not be responsible for any disclosure, modification or deletion of Your Data resulting from any such access by Non-SecureAppbox Application providers.
10.3 Acquisition of Non-SecureAppbox Products and Services. We or third parties may from time to time make available to You (e.g., a mail application or legacy system integration client) third-party products or services, including but not limited to Non-SecureAppbox Applications and implementation, customization, and other consulting services. Any acquisition by You of such non-SecureAppbox products or services, and any exchange of data between You and any Non-SecureAppbox provider, is solely between You and the applicable non-SecureAppbox provider. We do not warrant or support non-SecureAppbox products or services, whether they are designated by Us as “certified” or otherwise, except as specified in an Order Form. Subject to Section 10.1 (Integration with non-SecureAppbox Services), no purchase of non-SecureAppbox products or services is required to use the Services except a supported computing device, operating system, web browser and Internet connection.
11. No warranty and limitation of liability
SecureAppbox provides the Service ‘as-is’. SecureAppbox does not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of information available from the Service. SecureAppbox gives no express warranties, guarantees, or conditions. You may have additional consumer rights under Your local laws that this agreement cannot change. SecureAppbox excludes any implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, workmanlike effort, and non-infringement.
You can recover from SecureAppbox only direct damages up to an amount equal to Your Service fee paid to SecureAppbox for one month. You cannot recover any other damages, including consequential, lost profits, special, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages. Any claim related to this agreement, or the Service may not be brought unless brought within one year. The one-year period begins on the date when the claim first could be filed. This applies to You and Your successors. It also applies to SecureAppbox and our successors.
This agreement is in electronic form. There may be additional information regarding the Service that the law requires us to send you. SecureAppbox may send You this information in electronic form. You have the right to withdraw this consent, but if You do, SecureAppbox may cancel Your Service. SecureAppbox may provide required information to You:
By a message in the Service to Your account.
At the SecureAppbox web site that will be designated in a notice sent to You in the Service at the time the information is available.
Notices provided to You via Service messages will be deemed given and received on the transmission date of the message.
13. Changes in functionality and terms
SecureAppbox may change the Service or delete features at any time and for any reason. SecureAppbox may cancel or suspend your Service at any time.
If SecureAppbox changes the terms of this agreement, then SecureAppbox will tell You at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you must cancel and stop utilizing the Service before the change takes effect. If you do not stop using the Service, your use of the Service will continue under the changed agreement.
Further, SecureAppbox may assign this contract, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice to you. You may not assign this contract, or any part of it, to any other person. You may not transfer to anyone else, either temporarily or permanently, any rights to use the Service or any part of the Service.
These terms of service may have been translated into Your language. However, this English version of SecureAppbox terms of service governs Your use of the Service and add-on functions should there be any conflict in terms.
14. Governing law and venue
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to Swedish law. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be finally settled by Swedish Courts, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholm’s tingsrätt) as court of first instance.
